Power Run is in four days. Today I trained using my new running shoes. I was glad I did early on because I noticed the discomfort it brought to my feet. Although I was able to finish 16k, I did it at a slower pace. I realized it would be a bad idea to wear my new running shoes on the race. I resolved to the idea of using the worn out running shoes instead and train a little more using the new one. After all, I didn’t want to mess up my first 16k run.
I just hope my worn out running shoes won’t give up on me (as my mother would put it) during the race.
